Terence/Telence T. D'Arby is a minor antagonist JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, the third arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. One of Dio Brando's henchmen and the brother of Daniel J. D'Arby, Telence shares his brother's obsession of collecting several souls and is also a gamer. However, compared to his brother, his obsession towards collecting souls is taken up to eleven as it was revealed he puts them on constant torment.
In Japanese, he was voiced by Eiji Takemoto in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future and Junichi Suwabe in both JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle and the anime, who also voices Relius Clover in BlazBlue. In English, he was voiced by Xander Mobus in the anime's English dub.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He collects several people's souls with his Stand during cheats on video games challenges and put them in his dolls for collection to play (one of its victims is a child prodigy included) leaving them in constant torment and screaming. It is estimated around twenty people were the victims of the horror he inflicted.
- In addition, it is mentioned that Terence likes to change the clothes of his dolls, arguably making him guilty of sexual assault.
- In the past, it is stated that he brutally beat his brother after he found out he flirts with his girlfriend, causing him to be terrified of Terence. To be fair, this was kind of justified considering the fact that Terence was far older, making him possibly guilty of ephebophilia.
- He attempted to add Kakyoin to his soul collection and takes whatever it means to have it such as cheating when Kakyoin tries to beat him in video games.
- While his defeat is somewhat comedic, it is played less for laughs and more for upmost satisfaction.
- While JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has a very high Heinous Standard, Terence's crime of soul theft, as well as causing the victims into a state far worse than death, are unique to the series.
- Unlike his brother Daniel, who is honorable, Terence has no honor and is just a madman who collects people's souls to satisfy his own sadism.
